Nice to meet you!

Hi! I’m Nancy Vander Zwan. I am passionate about my family, serving others, and home staging!

Staging enables me to combine my creative side with my love for serving others. For years, I worked as a communications professional for small organizations and then large corporations. In my years living and working in the United States and Europe, I’ve moved many times! But nothing made me happier than the times in which I decorated my living spaces, as well as those of friends and family who entrusted me to make their spaces look and feel wonderful.

I learned about home staging in 2010 and was instantly intrigued. I love helping people solve one of the biggest challenges they’ll ever have: selling their homes. Studies show that after death and divorce, selling a home is the most stressful experience of a person’s life.

I became an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP®) through StagedHomes.com, the leading home staging educational program worldwide in 2010, and my aptitude paid off right away for my first clients. Their house had lingered on the market for a year. After I professionally staged the home and the sellers agreed to a modest price adjustment, the home sold in fewer than six weeks and for close to the asking price! My experience now includes staging single-family homes, condominiums, empty houses and vacation homes. I continue to educate myself on the latest in trends and practices in home staging, and as an ASP® I adhere to a code of ethics. I am also an Affiliate Member of the Bucks County Association of Realtors® (BCAR) and the National Association of Realtors® (NAR).

Another love of mine is acting at local theaters. As an adult I began singing and acting on local stages. The name of my company, StagingCraft, is a nod to my love for both home staging and theater arts. I believe home staging is just as important in telling the “story” of a house as a wonderful set design helps tell the story of a great play.

I am also a strong believer in giving back to the community and so I am an active volunteer for Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA) of Bucks County, PA. NOVA supports, counsels and empowers victims of sexual assault and other crimes.
